Jeanne Dimmick

Associate Director of Development

Jeanne Dimmick joined the Asbury Foundation as Associate Director of Development for Asbury Methodist Village in August 2018.  Jeanne previously held senior Development roles for Covenant Life School in Gaithersburg, the Weinberg Center for the Arts in Frederick, and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.  She brings broad experience in annual giving programs, with special emphasis on Giving Tuesday and other live fundraising events. Jeanne loves connecting people with non-profits through storytelling. She was deeply moved by the positive lifestyle change she witnessed in her parents when they moved into a Continuing Care Retirement Community, and she is eager to help others enjoy that same social and emotional benefit through community living at Asbury.  Jeanne received her Master of Arts degree in Musicology from the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre, and Dance in 2000.  Jeanne’s musical past includes being a songwriter and a semi-professional singer; she remains a lifelong choir member.  When she isn’t at Asbury, she spends her weekends enjoying the company of her husband and three young children in Mount Airy, Maryland.
