Bethany Village Auxiliary
The Bethany Village Auxiliary was organized in 1972. The Auxiliary has its own self-governing body, its own Constitution and By-Laws, as well as policies approved by the Board of Directors.
The emphasis of the Auxiliary is service. However, thousands of dollars have been raised through well-chosen projects enabling the Auxiliary to provide much needed services and equipment for the residents. Some of these projects and events include:
- Spring Fashion Show/Luncheon
- Tasting Tea
- Peach Festival
- Staff and Operate Gift Shop
Auxiliary Income is accumulated through various sources: dues from members, proceeds from the Gift Shop (which is operated by volunteers), proceeds from the Spring Fashion Show, proceeds from the Spring Tasting Tea, proceeds from the August Peach Festival, and other individual or group gifts.
Bethany Village is extremely grateful to the Auxiliary for helping to provide wonderful items all throughout the community. Some past gifts include a horseshoe pit, grocery carts, shuffleboard courts, multimedia projectors, outdoor benches, and a saltwater aquarium.
