Williamsburg Clothes Closet Funds raised from the Williamsburg Clothes Closet are used for the Benevolent Care needs of residents at Asbury Methodist Village.

Over the years, proceeds from the Williamsburg Clothes Closet have provided items like:

  • Visits to the doctor and dentist – bills not covered by insurance
  • Medical prescriptions
  • Prescription eyeglasses
  • Special orthopedic shoes
  • Hearing aids
  • Special activities

In addition, items such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, and other necessary equipment not covered under any other program have also been purchased for Asbury Methodist Village residents.

Asbury Methodist Village is fortunate to have a team of dedicated individuals who volunteer their time and talents to the Williamsburg Clothes Closet. Since 1989, proceeds from the Williamsburg Clothes Closet have exceeded $408,000, all for the benefit of residents in need at Asbury Methodist Village.
