2017’s Music for the Mission Sets New Record
The 2017 Music for the Mission concert series was a tremendous success and we can’t thank all of its supporters enough! Asbury Foundation is grateful for all of Asbury Methodist Village’s (AMV) residents, associates, family members and friends who participated in this year’s event. We thank all of our corporate sponsors, patrons and attendees who helped Music for the Mission raise more than $62,000 (new record)! And a final thanks to this year’s performers for putting on amazing, fun and spirited shows.
The concert series, which just completed its sixth year, brings AMV residents and their families together to enjoy outstanding performances, while supporting Benevolent Care at AMV. This program confidentially supports AMV residents who have exhausted their financial resources through no fault of their own, allowing them and their families the comfort of knowing they will be able to continue living at AMV’s beautiful campus and alongside their neighbors.
This year’s Music for the Mission featured performances by the Mendelssohn Piano Trio, Capital Accord Chorus and Olney Big Band. Lots of fun and excitement spread around the packed Rosborough Theatre, as vital funds were raised for AMV’s Benevolent Care program.
Again, we share our sincere thanks to our corporate sponsors, patrons and concert attendees (all ticket proceeds benefit Benevolent Care) who helped us raise a record-high $62,000+ to support AMV residents in need. Your care, commitment and generosity is much appreciated!
