The purpose of the Asbury Guild is to work with the Asbury Methodist Village (AMV) administration and Asbury Foundation in an effort to enhance the lives of the Residents in AMV’s Wilson Health Care Center and Kindley Assisted Living buildings.

The guild manages the Gift Shops in the Wilson Health Care Center and Kindley Assisted Living, and hold monthly Bargain Mart sales. They also arrange resident outings to restaurants and other places of interest, and provide Christmas gifts to all Wilson Health Care Center and Kindley Assisted Living residents through a project called Elves Day. The Guild also conducts bingo and monthly birthday parties and gifts.

The funds the Guild raises provide financial help to Wilson Health Care Center and Kindley Assisted Living where needed and appropriate, as well as making annual contributions to the AMV Benevolent Care Fund.

All Members and Non-Members are encouraged to volunteer for the Asbury Guild. Regular meetings are held in January, June and October.  Membership dues are a $3.00 annual contribution.
